Jose Capellan Requests Trade

Filed under: Wisconsin Sports — Tara @ 4:34 pm

So, my apologies for all of the Brewers posts, but it’s the start of the season and there is much to be discussed.

I saw this brief article on yahoo.com that said how Jose Capellan wants to be traded to another team because he’s pissed that the Brewers sent him to the minors. While I personally think no one deserves to “request a trade” (You get paid to play baseball, the team “owns” you in most respects and you signed a contract to play. Shut up and go play), what I found funny about this article were some of the comments of people reacting. So, click here to view the article, otherwise here are some highlights of the comments.

  • Throw strikes and you [won’t] have this problem Jose.
  • Trade him for some new welding wire and tools for the roof, he’s worthless.
  • Why is this even news? He isnt even good.
  • Hes lucky he even got sent to the minors.
  • Jose Capellen? Who is that? Not even worth talking about a no body.
  • Trade him for a new Chalet for Bernie Brewer.
  • I say honor his wishes…………… and trade him to the Cubs! He can whine along with Zambona about how good he is. Loser! (that one is for you, Jonny)
  • Send him to Washington, he could be their ACE!

    1. Glad to see such a stupid comment about Zambrano didn’t come from the informed readers of this website - he did finish 5th in the NL Cy Young voting last year. I think that gives him the right to call himself “good” :)

We’ll pass on Capellan - we already have a disgrunted pitcher that had a crappy spring and is now pissing and moaning about being sent to the minors (Prior).
