I heard on the news last night that Bo Black was in critical condition in an Arizona hospital. I knew she had been sick, but I guess I didn’t realize she was THAT sick. Turns out she had a stroke and has had a few surgeries now to try and replace it.

My thoughts are with her and her family (gotta cheer for her husband, former Brewers coach, Tom Trebelhorn!). Bo Black brought a lot to Milwaukee in her tenure with Summerfest. Being such a strong, powerful woman in a time when women leaders wasn’t very common, she’s really laid the path for future woman leaders. So… get well. The party in Milwaukee won’t be the same without you!
