I have mixed emotions about Brett coming back. There's one thing I am sure of though--
He would NEVER cross over to the dark side... (and play for the Bears)

Brett, don't bother coming back to play for a team like the Packers that has no
chance to get to the Super Bowl next year. Please, come play for the Bears, god knows you
can do better than Rex....

Glad to hear Brett will be back but don't think it is in the best interest for the future of the Packers as a competitve team.
I don't expect the Packers to make it to the Super Bowl and Farve is showing signs of weakness. On the other hand Farve draws
a large amount of money to the Packers primarily in a fan base and jersey sales that it is in the best interest of the owners
pockets. So on that note mission accomplished since in the end its all about money and profits.

I join the rest of our family, town (62 miles north of Lambeau Field), state of Wisconsin and
pro football fans in being glad Brett Favre is returning for another season. Although his play
has upset me at times, I feel fortunate to have seen him play. I also remember other Packer
greats, who probably played a bit too long -- Ray Nitchke, Jerry Kramer among a few others.
Brett is such a total pro that I feel confident that when he is unable to perform at the level
he and Big Irv know he should be at, he will retire then. His decision to return is one that
he is the only one to have made, and we are all glad that his competitive spirit and unique
physical skills will be shared with us again. Welcome back Brett. I hope that the management
gives you some more tools to make the 16th season even better than last year.
