#A? What moron decided to name apartments #A? Doesn’t a number usually follow the # sign?

I understand where you’re coming from. I actually run into this a lot at work.
The majority of the time it’s because the person is too lazy to write the word “Suite”…

I before E, except after C, or when pronounced A, as in neighbor or weigh.
Hope that clears things up.
