Random Thoughts
Ok, so I have two totally random thoughts for today.
1. I was driving down the road yesterday and ran into an awful stench. It wasn’t the usual stenches you smell in Milwaukee (like that Lake Michigan smell or the smell of beer brewing), but something from the car that was in front of me. I rolled down my window to do some more sniffing and I caught a huge whiff of B.O… coming from the CAR. Now, I’ve smelled this sort of thing before, but the part I find funny is the type of cars that the smell comes from. I have NEVER seen it come from a BMW, a Mercedes, or a Honda Civic that is in good shape. It ALWAYS comes from the 1988 Dodge Caravan whose bumper is being held up by bungee cords, a window is covered in a garbage bag, it’s missing at least 2 hubcaps, it is usually dragging something from the undercarriage, it clinks, and almost always has a bumper sticker or two on it. Why is that? What is it always the crappy cars that smell like B.O.?
2. I saw a sign in the bathroom here that was advertising the sports teams here. It said something along the lines of “Are you an experienced athlete? Have you never played a sport but would like to try? Then you can be on our teams! Contact….”
I’m torn on this one. For example, say I’m a pretty hard-core softball player and was looking forward to playing softball at the NCAA Division III level. I get put on a team with someone who has never touched a softball in their lives and is out there, probably trying harder than most of the other people, but is still not very good. I think I’d get frusterated. That’s how I’m torn… yes, it’s a small school and everyone should get the opportunity to play, but what about the people who aren’t half bad and have to be stuck on a team with not-so-good people?
Thoughts on my ruminations???
People who fail to keep there cars, yards, homes and other stuff neat
probably treat themselves to the same first class care. (hince Ghetto!!!)

Funny guy you are, Hardy. If they had a Varsity Reserve team, I’d ROCK. Aim high…
