Glass Canyon?

An American Indian tribe with land along the Grand Canyon is planning to build a glass-bottomed walkway that will jut out 70 feet from the canyon’s edge.
The horseshoe-shaped skywalk, expected to open in January, is part of the Hualapai Tribe’s $40 million effort to turn 1,000 acres of reservation land into a tourist destination that will also feature an Indian village and Western-themed town.
Ok, this picture caught my eye when I was looking around today. First of all, it doesn’t look like a horseshoe, it looks like a toilet seat sticking out of the side of the mountain.
Second of all, I don’t know how safe I’d feel going on this. I’m sure they’d build it sturdy and everything, but I would think it’s a lot like the Infinity Room at the House on the Rock in Spring Green, WI. You go out into this thing and by the time you get to the skinny part, the whole thing is moving and rocking a little bit. A little freaky.
Thirdly, $25 admission??? Are they nuts?? I could look over the edge and get virtually the same experience and it would be free. Hmmmmm….
I bet you could really hock a loogy from that horseshoe, though.
