I Got a Letter From a 2nd Grader!!!

Letters from Strangers!

I got this letter in the mail today and I’m like “what kind of 2nd grader is writing me a thank you note?” I don’t associate with many children, and even if I did, I doubt they would be writing me to thank you for much of anything.

Then I remembered that Friday night, Jenny and Erica got together to work on Amber’s bachelorette party invitations. I open it up, and sure enough, that’s what it was.

See, the thing is, Jenny writes very small the majority of the time. She wanted to make sure she wrote big enough for the envelopes, so she wrote extra slow to make sure she wrote neat… and this is what came of it. You know I love you Jenny, but this is some pretty funny stuff. :)

  1. Yes, that is exactly what I did. I’ve never claimed to have good hand writing, so I’m not sure
why you had me do the invitations knowing this. There’s a reason I type things :)

  2. Hey, as long as the info is on there, it really doesn’t matter how funny the penmanship looks. Nice work, Beav!

  3. I HAD to comment on this blurb, as I thought the same thing when I got the invite!
I thought for sure one of my friend’s children had addressed the envelope. Thanks for the
    laugh!
