Rough Loss for Club G’s
This past week pitted the 2 teams tied for 2nd place… Aurora Health Care vs. Club G’s. When we played them the first time, they got last ups and won the game in the last inning, 20-19. This time, we didn’ t have much luck avenging that loss. I believe the final was 12-15 or something along those lines. I guess it’s true–we can’t win without TRIPP. I won’t be playing for the next two weeks due to prior commitments, so I hope that the team can pull off some wins without me. Hey–the good news is that my batting average can’t go down by not playing.

Since I won’t be around for a few weeks, here are my “just-after-midseason” awards for statistical categories:
Most At Bats: TRIPP (that WITH Tripp missing a game and obviously being the only person on the team to not take a walk yet this season)
Most Hits: Mike S with 17
Most Singles: Jonny Hammer with 10
Most Doubles: TRIPP with 5
Most Triples: Tim with 3
Most Homeruns: Mike S with 5
Most Walks: Bonnie with 8
Most Runs Scored: Mike S and Tim tied with 15
Most RBIs: TRIPP with 19
Best Average: Mike S batting .895!!
Best On Base Percentage: Mike S with a .909
Best Slugging Percentage: Not surprisingly, Mike S with a whopping 2.053!
Double congrats to bonnie for being the only girl on the team to be leading in a statistical category. You go girl!! Good luck Club in the next 2 weeks–I’ll be cheering for you!!
