Haha...first I've saw of that. As a former aspiring sportscaster I can say that was absolutely
horrifying what he experienced...although for god's sake adlib son!! I mean if you know sports
enough you can make s*it up as you go along. I once did a college newscast w/o prompter for
sports. It was terrible, although I made some jokes and had a good time and made everyone
laugh except for the one serious anchor who is now a real tv newscaster somewhere in Vermont :)

Anyway that was absolutely hysterical. The dead air followed by the paper shuffling and him
mumbling. It should be on those TV blooper shows. You think the producer would've cut in
and said cut to commercial or close up the segment. He was probably laughing the whole time.
I can't believe that actually happened on live tv. Classic.

Btw feel free to exchange blog links with me...I'll add a link to yours on my site,

And Boom Goes the Dynamite

Wow, I can’t believe I just heard “boom goes the dynamite” for the first time today. There are 15,800 results for that search phrase on Google.
Pick one of them - any one of them, and watch the video. It’s painful, but funny.

From a psychological standpoint, you can see that his tie is crooked which leads me to believe it WAS rushed and he hadn't much practice. There is a tremolo in his voice - which suggests high anxiety. He exasperates and has run on empty in his self esteem tank. He also has unfocused eyes which also tells me he is either #1 not wearing his glasses, or #2 he cannot see teleprompter. Poor guy, reminds me of one of the bench warmers getting a chance to prove to teh team he can do it. But a crash and burn is evident. BOOM, goes the dynamite!
