Goodbye 1225

Filed under: Around Milwaukee — Tara @ 12:19 pm

As I’m sure many of you have noticed, Tim’s favorite club to pick up underage girls, 1225, was erased from the Water Street Scene back in October.

Well, looks like they are finally done renovating the space and are soon going to be opening up a new place called “Swig.” They don’t have any details posted about it yet, but onmilwaukee.com says that it should be opening up by the end of January. Keep your eyes peeled for more news…

  1. i heard the cops have been ticketing water street bars for over-crowding or whatever
the violation is called. i guess the corner bar got a ticket for having too many people.

so im not sure what that had to do with your story, but i thought i would mention that.

  4. 1225 was a horrible bar and I wanted to strangle myself everytime I went there. Although back in the day they also were one of the easier bars to get into with a fake ID. Good Riddance.
