Poop with Dave Matthews Band
A followup to the Dave Matthews Band “dump” story that I posted about a few weeks ago…
The State of Illinois is suing DMB! The lawsuit accuses the band and one of its bus drivers of violating state water pollution and public nuisance laws. They are suing them for $70K.
That’s got to be just pocket change for Dave. If you were the band, would you just try and settle this out of court, or would you stick to your story that “we didn’t do it” and take it to court?
$70k IS a settlement for these type of shit-dumping people. but im assuming once this lawsuit by the state goes through, the people on the boat will floow. that could be where we see some higher amount of sue(sew)-age. errr something.

Maybe Dave Matthews can get some other rocks stars to hold a benefit concert to pay the fine. They could give the concert a clever name that ends in “aid”.
