Office Bathroom Etiquette
For those of you that have never been to my office, a little background for you. I work in a one-story building which houses about 10 different companies in 10 different “suites.” There is one bathroom in the building for women and one for men. I can’t say I’ve seen the men’s bathroom, but the womens has 4 stalls.
I get a kick out of the bathroom etiquette that goes into that. The “unspoken rules,” if you will. For instance, if you go in and someone is already in a stall, you NEVER go into the stall right next to them. You try to put at least one, if not two stalls in between you. For women, you know if a girl takes a purse into the bathroom, they are on their rag. Otherwise, they never take their purse. Duh–like we don’t realize that you have your period.
Anywho, I found a pretty funny posting by someone else on office bathroom etiquette.
Does this happen at your offices too?
thats actually pretty funny since i just went to drop a NOB and i did the whole every other stall thing.

One summer I worked in the Information Technology Department for the State of Iowa. People would literally crap their brains out in the toilets, not flush and then have the audacity to leave the stall door open. I’m not sure if they got off on that somehow or what, but it disgusted me.
I thought it was an “unspoken” rule to flush the goddamn toilet after you drop the kids off! Am I wrong??

You know another bathroom peeve of mine? When people won’t go into a stall because someone didn’t flush or they didn’t do a double flush when they had a lot of crap in there. I know it’s kind of gross to have to flush for someone else, but honestly–why wait in line just because you refuse to go in and flush the toilet for someone else.

To all,
If anyone, do have a picture of a man lifting the toilet seat as
consideration of other when use it. So I can print it out and post in
the bathroom remind the men at our office to a little more considerate.
Thanks.
